For hosts

What if someone gets injured?
We take safety and host protection seriously. All participants agree to a liability waiver before playing, and we carry commercial general liability insurance.
What if a guest damages my property?
You maintain control over booking approvals and property rules. If an issue occurs, we work directly with the you and the guest to help resolve it.
Do I still need homeowner’s insurance?
Yes. You should maintain your existing homeowner’s or property liability insurance while listing your court.
How much does it cost to list my court?
Nothing. It's free to list.
Can you tell me more about liability?
You are responsible for maintaining a safe court and must carry homeowner's or property liability insurance while listed on CourtShare. The booking player signs a liability waiver before booking, acknowledging the risks of using your court, and taking responsibility for their guests. Read the full host agreement for complete terms.
Do you take a cut?
Yes. We charge a 15% platform fee per booking to cover platform costs. This fee is exclusive to founding hosts. After the limited founding host slots have been filled, the platform fee will be adjusted for realistic operation when onboarding new hosts.
Can I control who books my court?
Yes. Bookings are request-based. You confirm or reject every request before a player can pay. You also control pricing, availability, group size limits, age minimums, and court rules.
How do I receive payouts?
You receive payouts through Stripe from your hosting dashboard. Stripe provides an express dashboard where you can view upcoming payouts, booking history, and more.

For players

How much does it cost to book a court?
The booking rate is set by the host including the minimum and maximum duration you can book. There is a 10% service fee charged on top of the final rate. This additional cost is to protect us and the host from booking abuse and for future services. The service fee will be adjusted as we learn what protection and services should be provided.
What about bathrooms?
This up to the host! Some hosts have beautiful additional dwelling units by their courts. Others have outdoor accessible bathrooms.
